As a Data Scientist at our startup, you will play a crucial role in developing AI-powered solutions for our SaaS platform and providing expert guidance to our consulting clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize machine learning models that solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities
- Handling Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
- Strong understanding of programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and/or Spark for data manipulation and analysis to fellow teammates
- Define and manage analytics, data science, and AI strategy across multiple business verticals.
- Provide expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, contributing to model development, refinement, and implementation.
- Oversee teams of data scientists, resolving bottlenecks in project execution across manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, R&D, commercial, sales, and legal.
- Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement analytics solutions.
- Work closely with data engineering, application engineering, and enterprise architecture teams to implement scalable solutions.
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, ML Ops, and Generative AI.
- Drive a culture of knowledge-sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Education
- 4-year Engineering degree. An MBA or any specialized course work in Data Science is a plus. Work experience in Pharma/Healthcare is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is a Plus
- 8+years of professional experience in data science or machine learning is preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning techniques
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and SQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex problems into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
